Returning in her finest form yet, Anael unveils her latest thoughtful, thematic work: the contemporary yet equally timeless Once Upon a Dream. With her hallmark heavenly vocals and spirituality very much intact, Anael sets sail on her 6th sonic voyage, and this time, she's telling other people's stories along with her own. Ten classic tales of heroes, lovers and visionaries, metaphysical sagas that envelop us into their midst with elaborate, gorgeous poetry by Bradfield, some of his most sensitive writing to date. The storyteller role suits Anael well, her caressing voice instilling into each narrative an intimacy that allows us to relate to the characters immediately, like old friends we've simply lost touch with.
From the haunting "If Life Were But a Fairytale," a ode to young love through the eyes of a dreamer; into "No Ordinary Year," an eight minute epic tale of a man who awakens to a more meaningful life after discovering the voice of an angel; and "The Maiden Whose Voice Made the Animals Sing," an enchanting story of a girl from a far off land; Once Upon a Dream is just as the apt title suggests: a world of joyful innocence, of ever present hope. Hope that's alive not only in each of Anael's stories, but also for you and I, our children and a world that seeks so desperately to bathe once again in the sacred fountain of our youth.

Featuring over 70 minutes of Anael's soothing, spiritual vocals, layered harmonies, poetic lyrics and rich musical landscapes, Greatest Gifts is a special collection of 12 of her most loved and classic songs from her first 4 recordings. Each of those albums contributes 3 tracks, while 2 new and previously unreleased songs appear for the very first time. With songs performed in English, Italian, Hebrew, Latin and French, Greatest Gifts celebrates the 8th year of Anael's otherworldly artistry and showcases some of her finest musical moments.
Greatest Gifts was also conceived by Bradfield as a mixed media project from the outset, and includes a bonus DVD with a wealth of visual delights including 4 music videos, EPK (Electronic Press Kit), footage in Asia, interviews, an unreleased theme song and slideshow from a Korean TV drama, insights, a complete discography, Anael's 4 pillars, 6 photo galleries and more. Every aspect of the DVD visuals is in perfect harmony with the CD portion, including several gorgeous motion menus that bring the multiple elements of the album artwork to life.
There are also 5 DVD tracks presented in high definition 24 bit audio, including both of the new songs: Peace is Nigh and Homeward Bound.

Beginning and ending in the sky while touching down everywhere in between, Anael's 4th album is an intimate personal invitation into the celestial heavens. The innocent and dreamlike "See Another World" opens the senses and each subsequent song is a brief stop on her flight. "Till the Womb Gives Birth" explores the mindset of a steadfast, faithful creator searching for the truth; "Trace" recounts our ability to connect with God by simply mirroring a higher set of ideals. As the journey progresses, we sense a newfound sense of assuredness in Anael's outlook, the script of a soul who is starting to uncover a fresh perspective. What keeps it all believable is her everpresent deliberation and questioning, well tempered with a healthy dose of humility. Through this constant juxtaposition of earthly concerns and human dreams, Anael reveals the multiple resonances of our universe, using the distinct strengths of sound and verb to portray a vast array of vibrations all geared towards heightening the listener's awareness. Language of the Soul marks the return of the glorious Anael sound, hailed by critics across North America as being stunningly unique yet comfortably familiar, and is the Canadian female vocalist's 3rd album of original prose and songs. After Light of Refinement (5 months in NAV's Top 35) and her sophomore release Unconditional (now licensed in six countries), 'LotS' showcases Anael's inspired vision in no less than five different languages, including Hebrew, Italian, Latin, English and her maternal tongue, French.

Delving further into both the physical and spiritual aspects of our journeys through time, this album not only eagerly welcomes us to the dance of life, but literally reaches out and pulls us in.
